better then i thought

Let's just say it was a stressful week and one more week of stress is coming up, but here are some shots from last night, the lighting was very bad and none of them turned out so I did what i could. I got to be a part of a concert at the Love of God church, it was like a graduating concert for a Russian music school in Portland, where my violin teacher works, so anyway she asked me to play for her with an ensemble. I didn't really know all the details until this Tuesday and that's when I found out that I have to memorize two songs for the concert. Well all I am saying is that I am glad the songs were very easy and one of them I knew the melody to "great is the Lord". But the performance turned out pretty good, better then I expected, so praise God it's over. Besides, this performance kind of killed off my stage fright, so when I'll be playing at my church for the Final Music School concert it will be a little bit less scary...or will it??

For those of you who don't know who that is, he is a famous Russian Christian singer, I really like his songs, since childhood I listened to him so check him out.

This is the first time in about 5-6 years I have a picture of myself playing violin. And it turned out bad :/
